bait boat battery meter

hi my mate gave me his angling tec battery meter the digital one will it work on me viper mk 3

cheers did not no if i could use it as it has it in minutes for running time than the meter on the bait boat

The built-in meter is good enough for most applications I think.

Mind you, my Viper Mk3 has only ever worked properly once, on other outings I've had all sorts of problems with it, ranging from unstable batteries to the port side jet motor only running at about 30% power, and cutting out for no apparent reason causing heart stopping moiments wondering if I'll ever get the damn thing back again.

Most of the time now it sits in my garage!

Usually I wouldn't recommend the Viper, to anyone t.b.h.

A battery meter is a battery meter, it should work assuming that the battery power that your boat runs on is within the scale of the meter itself - which it probably is.

It simply measures potential difference - volts.

If you get a negative reading (ie the needle goes backwards) then simply switch the connection to the meter around.
