Today i learned that a fishing legend, Peter Thomas one of the greats from the early days of carp fishing friend of Richard Walker has passed on. He ranked among the greats of angling in the fifties and sixties along with the Taylor brothers and others. An inspiration to all of us in those times.

The quiet man of angling and must have been the last surviving member of the Carp Catchers Club (unless Bob Reynolds is still about?)
