Kenny has a great website. I will probably be booking a days or 2 roach fishing with him when the time looks good. Some crackers there.

It's tomorrow night, a good sized venue so plenty of room.

Kenny is a fine angler and communicator. His Blog is excellent and he catches better than he writes/films! Can't make it tomorrow, which is a shame, it'll be good.

A Very Good evening with Kenny who gave an excellent presentation.

Some stunning pictures and wind blown videos!

Would be nice to have a bit more Society support at this event in the future in recognition of the effort Des puts in.

Then arrange the presentation for a weekend when mostpeople are actually free.

Pete,I don't know the numbers yet, but most of this type of meeting are usually well attended.
Not looking to make excuses,but, they are mid-week for a couple of reasons. One of which is they are run by a volunteer Regional Organiser, who may work all week, so he may not have weekends free, family/fishing.
The halls/rooms are just not that readily available at weekends, and will cost, they are usually, pubs and "working men's clubs", space is at a premium at weekends.

Peter, might be a good idea to try it during the close season. I will chat to Des.

I estimate there was about 18 people. I travelled 160 miles simply because I wanted to listen to a NEW speaker. It was worth it.

We did use to get about 40 - 60 to the Berks meetings usually on a Thursday evening.

I was lucky that I used to get great support from Pete Reading, Mike Berridge and other BS members. We even had a couple come along from a place called Birmingham.
