Default adding flavor and colour to pellets

Hi, all just a quick question whats the best ways to and flavor and change the colour of small "feed" pellets ill be fishing in a commercial fishery with carp tench ect and want to mix my feed up a little bit is it ok to use food colouring and flavors you get out the tesco and the like if so has anyone done well with vanilla, was thinking of trying it as its pretty sweet?

here,s a thing kerbear, take a kilo of feed pellets and split into 3, the 1st lot soak with water, the next with black food colouring and vanilla added to the water and the last with red fc and vanilla. now fish 3 differant swims and see if 1 outfishes the others.

Lightly soak the pellets, place in a plastic bag and sprinkle a tablespoon of robin red over them and shake vigourously, leave in bag until needed, nowt better.

Or,instead of Robin Red, add about 5ml of whatever flavour grabs your fancy. Flavoured pellets can give you an edge on difficult waters but I've never bothered to colour them.
