I understand some of your frustrations but where you do draw the line? My mate married an American - is that okay or would she fall into the "fish stealing, beat-your-wife-up-in-the-city-centre" camp as well? Maybe tourism shoud be banned too - after all, don't really want Johnny foreigner over here do we (and presumably they wouldn't want us either). Perhaps you could draw up a list for me of which countries inhabitants are / are not be acceptable? It'll give me something to laugh about if nothing else!

By the way, in World War II there were a total of 40 million casualties worlwide - 27 million of these were suffered solely by our Russian allies. Food for thought.

And just because a nation loses 27,000,000 of its citizens during a war does not mean they get special treatment 60 years on.

I can assure you there are far more English "scum" than immigrant "scum" in this country. While I think there is an issue in terms of our policies and management, to blame everything on immigrants is complete claptrap. This country is 10 times richer for being diverse, not poorer.

Perhaps if people got off their backsides and tried harder, instead of thinking the world owes them a living, they would be better off.

I think Matt Hayes is was off line on his question re immigrants. What on earth can the EA do??? He should stick to regurgitating the blindingly obvious in IMYC.

Swordsy - totally agree with the "fit in or f*** off" policy, and often wish we could apply that to "some of our own".

Yes lets live together in this green and pleasant land....
However this island of ours is getting pretty crowded and the green bits are being filled in slowly but surely.
Somebody , our elected government perhaps,
needs to get to grips with this countries population increase.

If you had read my piece you will have noticed that my brother in law like your good lady is or was an immigrant. He came fro Persia before it became Iran. Like your wife he spoke our lanquage and worked his rocks off. He received a degree from Sheff Uni and worked as a civil engineer before retiring to Spain with my sister. now even he thinks England is over run with illegal immigrants,well its not rocket science is it as i know quite a few muslims who think the same way.
Nobody is on about your wife its the ones that are here on the take like Bakri Hamza the Quantanimo 4 who where quick to fight our troops yet when they came back where selling their stories and after compo,you know yourself the list goes on . This small country cannot absorb the amount being allowed in.
When i lived in South Africa Australia New Zealand i abided by their laws and never looked for handouts and might i add my wife has never worked. It would be nice if some coming into this country did the same
When i said i would rather be robbed by one of my own well thats the only way the police ever get a conviction.They have stated that they dont stop any immigrants any more in case the racialist card is played
