Just read the tip and sent for the bag....well, it would be rude not to!

Dave mentions air-drying boilies, I did not realise this was possible, how do you go about it and what are the advantages [or not]?

You can't just put frozen boilies in them and they then become air dried.

I've been experimenting over the last month in readiness for our trip to DDI next week.

Put your frozen baits in with some pellet, rice, dry particle or sugar for about 2 or 3 days to wick away most of the moisture, then place the boilies in the net bag and hang them up, these appear to last indefinitely.

If you put fresh or frozen baits straight into the bag you will need to hang them in the airing cupboard so that they dry out quicker.

All the air dried baits re-absorb moisture as soon as they go into the lake with the exterior skin going mushy and releasing more particles into the surrounding area than a normal fresh or frozen boilie.
