If you read the news items, you'll be aware that a new specimen group is starting in the Black Country. A thing of the past, or the way forward?

Please go and have a look at the Carp Section too, where this thread was first posted, in error, by me. If you don't I'll never hear the last of it from a certain person who uses me as a kneeling pad. The news item refered to is called 'FISHINGmagic Contributors Launch New Group.'

I wanted to join a specimen group in Kent but there isnt one so are there any anglers in and around Kent that vwould like to form a group.

it changed from the Black Country Specimen Group (BCSG) to the Specialist Web Anglers Group (SWAG) to avoid any naming problems with other groups.
SWAG still exists albeit in a slightly reduced format.
