Just a quickie to Jeff, or anyone else who owns one of above.
Looking to purchase one of these, but need to know the distanace in cm's or inches between the bottom of the quiver and the rod retaining loops. The reason being is i use three piece rods when stalking/roaming, and need to know if the loops are in a posistion where the will hold the rod section's in place ( the drennan super specialist quiver does, hoping this quiver will too )
Cheers
Tony

It's approximatey 39 inches, but that could change from one batch to another.

The thing to bear in mind is the opening at the base where you stick the butts. I designed it so that it would only just take a handle and another section.

If you try to put three sections in they may not go. It was my intention to put three-sectioned rods in the main section in a tube. That doesn't help if you have a reel stuck on them though.

Try to see one first.

Tony

I own one and use three piece rods. No probs whatsoever if its a 11ft or more rod in equal bits - however, a couple of rodas I have have a butt wsection of about 24" followed by two 5ft sections. On those, I just use a rod wrap round all of the sections to keep things tidy.

Its a brilliant bit of kit btw - Jeff did a great job!
