Absolutely excellent reading. I can't wait for the next episode! I hope we don't have to wait too long.

Jed says 'my river has been starved of rain for several weeks, and the water is running low and clear.' Either Jed must live somewhere other than mainland UK or it was written some time ago!!

A Fabulous start - helps you forget the nettle stings, the insect bites, the bramble thorns, the unexpected rain, the field full of scarry charging bullocks, the endless snags, the missing bit of tackle that would have been just right, the unexpected rain, the wet bum, the dirty, scarry slid down banks slick with muddy silts from last weeks floods and the sad tramp homewards knackered, dirty ,wet, and minus some bits of yourself and tackle.

Until next time - when all is forgotten - the the dream carries on.

I'm sure Jed told me the year was 2003 when he wrote the diary. Don't suppose it matters.
