I really hope they got maggots and worms because I only have some bread, sweetcorn and groundbait!Filled the car with petrol, checked the tyre pressure and started sorting out my gear-2 rods, landing net,1 foldaway chair and a small rucksack with drinking water, sun cream and bits and bobs.
I always like to travel light .Are you guys ready?

I have worm but I'm not taking the pole cos I don't want to spend all day with you lot taking the pi$$. I've not used it at all yet so it will not come out in company until I've worked out how to do it properly.

I think you'll find the t/s have a good supply of bait including maggot/caster.
Jerry
PS Not sure about the worms but Skippy's bringing plenty.

If no worms in the shop then we are all going to beg S-kippy for a wriggly worm. The thing is I always had the best results using worms when fishing for crucians in the past...I think I'll raid the composting bin just in case...

I take it from all the references that worm is the "in" crucian bait at MF at the mo ?

It was last year at this time as I recall, with loads and loads of chopped worm being chucked in. But then didn't it blow in favour of.... hmmmm. Will keep that to myself

I've heard that 28mm boilies are taking all the crues at the moment but, having a sporting nature, I'll use something else.
