Default pre baiting campaign

When will you start prebaiting your local river for next season - I'm joining a new club next season that has the fishing rights to the Rother in Treaton a village about 30 minutes away

I'm thinking of fishing the Rother once a week and when I pack up bait up 2 or 3 swims for the next session.

Default Re: pre baiting campaign

I've never bothered pre-baiting on rivers - unless for bream in a large featureless water. I would be looking to locate the features (or the fish) and fish to them - likely that overhangs/pools etc would hold fish without need for pre-baiting. River carping might be a different story.
