I have been using flatbed feeders for my bream fishing and i,ve been doing ok. But I wonder are they the right ones to use or should I go back to standard open ended or finned method I am so confused

well if your doing ok with the flatbeds why change, but experiment with afew and see what you come up with, tight lines.

I use the standard ex large open end drennan feeders, for both quivertip and alarm fishing. I've had bags up to almost 300lb and bream to mid doubles.

on the lake i fish i have tried all manner of feeders by far the best is the flat method feeder, i use an inline drennon or the preston flatbed with a 3" hooklegnth its the hookbait that i have to keep changing at the moment i am getting plenty of bream on marine halibut pellets on a banded hair.
