hartsholme park, lincoln

hey all.im just starting to get some ideas together ready for the new season and was wondering if anyone around the lincoln way knows much about the potential of hartsholme park in lincoln?
ihear it holds afew goodcarp but what i was really interested inare the tench.everyone i speak to about the place cameout with usual tales of monster fish seems to be the case with these old waters everytime[img]/forum/smilies/i_dont_know_smiley.gif[/img]! but when you ask them have you fished it they seem to say no, lol
so any one on here ever given it a go?

fished it but not for a few years some good tench but also some nice bream too carp tend to be to the island and over near the bridge,tench around the lilly pads over near houses but turn up any where , bream at about 50 ft from bank get some bait in and wait , lots of small to meduim pike too can be a apain in the ass too. loads of small stuff too.

also has been trouble recently with youths just be ware

ok thanks for that mate.youths shouldnt be a problem they will still be sleeping off the cider while im there!
