hook size for floating with boilies - bream?

I have some 10mm boilies iv heard are good for bream and small carp. Does anyone know the best hook size to set up for my hair rig?

Personally I would start off at a size 10 curved shank and see how it shakes out.

Very true, hook sizes are farcical these days...

I'd go for a size 12 or 14 Korum Xpert Power hook.

personally I would use a size 8 or 10 with a 10mm boilie, the big problem is that to-day different hook companies have a different interpretation of hook sizes I would suggest that you find a make of hook that you are happy with and have total confidence in and stick with them it makes life easier.

For 10m I use a Preston PR36 size 16 or a Guru QM1 size 16.

Peter, are Guru QM1's roughly the same dimensions to a Guru MWG hook of the same stated size?

I used 10mm Baittech Method Boilies on the float this weekend (just gone) and used a Drennan Size 14 Carp Power Hair rigged hooks. Had carp to 9.5lb. Handled like a dream.
