My current feeder rod is a bit dated now and fancy updating it, I do own a drennan series 7 Avon quiver 1.5lb.

I'm looking for a new feeder rod, will be fishing for roach, tench, bream and the odd carp. Looking around the 100 bucks mark for a rod.

Anyone have any good reviews or recommendations on which rod to go for?

Would it be worth deviding and conconcering and getting a rod for silvers and one for the slightly bigger species or just just get an all rounder?

For quality and value for money, I'd stick with the Drennan Series 7 feeder rod range.

I've got one that's 12ft long and takes lines up to 8lb, which I use for chub and barbel fishing. It's a good rod.

The next size down, at 11 ft, might be more suitable for the species you are fishing for.

Alternatively you could try the 11ft Series 7 Avon quiver rod at 1.25lb
