Beastmaster 9-11?

Hi All,

Am looking to buy a Shimano Beastmaster 9-11 feeder, there seems to be both the BX and CX versions available, at approx. the same price whats the difference physically and do they differ in action ? is one softer than the other
?

Will be looking at catching carp to around 5lb with the odd bonus one, but also skimmers/tench/crucians

any info gratefully received.

I have a couple of these rods Dave, probably the Bx, without fishing them out, i think the CX is a slightly stepped up version, fantastic rods, had carp to 20 plus on them at a snag free lake, i dont like Shimano rods, but these are superb as was their predessessor, the twin power with the two end joints.

I have today taken delivery of a Beastmaster 9-11 CX , very subtle looks, but I like that, it feels superb, let's hope it lives up to its name

It will superb rod, you wont lose many on that mate, good choice, tight lines.
