Dorset Stour Longham fishery management

I wondered if anyone knew who maintains the free stretch at Longham, and at Muscliffe for that matter.

Ive spoken to one or two fishermen there last season who mentioned it but I didnt follow it through at the time. Would be interested to get involved as its on my doorstep and a really solid fishery (notwithstanding all the junk that accumulates).

Thanks Mark. I figured there was some element of local authority involved. I guess I'm wondering if also there is something in the way of a local volunteers group, or failing that just a mob of fishing vigilante do-gooders, that take more of an initiative themselves. I definitely remember one regular down there talking about helping with weed cutting.
