sold by Sports Direct - who bought up part of the Dragon Carp name - for the price it won't be great a 9 metre pole with nine top if it's the same as this

as a total numpty as regards poles , i know the dunlop name (mostly from tennis) ill admit, i would have thought that a reasonably priced ???, multi topkit, all pre elasticated, ready to go pole would suit a total novice like me , afew off the peg rigs n away i go n give it a try,,,,, no???

If you want a cheap way into pole fishing then go for it - you may find that the pole is not a "Stiff" as dearer poles - bit if you take to it then you can upgrade

lord paul, im going to try n get as much pole kit for as little as i can get away with, and if the pole fishing is not for me , then no big loss n might even be able to flog the gear on, but im visiting brum in november and plan to visit fosters of birmingham, see,feel,handle a pole or 3(no laughing down the back) and go from there, no buying anything untill after november, if im a good boy santa might find something in his sack for me(ohhh errr mrs, thats enough of that kind of talk)
