According to FIPS which is the official body England have won in the following years:
1954, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1991, 1994, 1998, 2001, 2005, 2006 & 2008

This is OFFICIAL confirmation of the 1954 win whereas mostin this country thought the first win was 1985.
