Drought advice for fishery managers from the EA
The South East of England is in drought as a result of two consecutive dry winters with below average rainfall. Groundwater levels and river flows are low across the whole area. Our evidence shows that even with above average rainfall there will still be significant drought impacts on people, business and the environment during spring and summer this year.
