Friend is selling a joblot of rods. I suggested popping them on here just in case.

Team Daiwa Matchlite 13ft Stick (No bag - brilliant condition)
Team Daiwa Whisker Composite 13ft Match (original bag - brilliant condition)
Drennan 12ft 11/4 TC Specialist (original bag - brilliant condition)
Drennan IM8 12ft 1 1/4 specialist (original bag - brilliant condition)
Abu Conolon Premier 12ft Feeder (original bag - brand new + tips)
Daiwa Avon Tradition 12 ft 1 1/4 TC (original bag - looks either new or mint)

I had a peek at the rods and they all seem GENUINELY A1.

£330 inc postage via Parcelforce Large Parcels

I've never heard of a drennan im8 specialist, deffo a new one on me.

I think drennan did a im6 specialist rod in 11ft and also in 12ft both with 1 1/4 test curves.

Yes, you are spot on actually. He did say it was an IM6.

No there was an IM8, i beleive the drennan tench float is constructed from it, superb rods, shame about the reel seats, cost me about 130 pounds years ago, 2 pound test a little bit heavy in the action, can pull hooks till you get used to it, bargain bundle that lot.

I have had (and still do have) a few of the drennan im8 rods and the one with the 2lb curve was a 2lb power curve (not test curve). That rod (of which I have two) was the drennan 12ft 9inch im8 specimen float rod...I love 'em.
The other im8 rods where either feeder rods, waggler rods or a stick float rod.
There was no im8 tench float as far as I can remember (I may be wrong). I went through all the drennan tench rods (barr the very latest green on with the screw off handle) and finnished up keeping the super tench which was the most powerfull of them. I did have a pair of the drennan im6 specimen rods at 11ft and they where a 1 1/4lb test avon rod really, the handle was too long for my liking and I sold them on (nice rods though).

Tell you what, if anybody is interested - PM me and I will take photos for you to clear it up. Whatever they are...they all seem like lovely rods.
