that sound good bigseani could give you a listen or two if you were near me. southyorkshire. if you get to fish for pike then try a weighted fly like the one,s in my pic,s they do well its best if you try to make them look like the type,s of fish in there water and make the fly off set so it wobbles a bit when retreveing it.ou can catch most fish on flies there are so many differant flies to use. well if you need any help drop me a pm

fishing for pike and perch in my back garden, i have a canal that runs between edinburgh and glasgow, and have had upwards of 7 perch in a day and a few jack pike. taking typically rainbow flies, or pike bunnys with weedguards for under trees on the far bank.

great fun especially on light tackle e.g the 7 foot 4 weight rod i use.
