Is it ever?

I can't even catch a cold on there even in the height of summer!

It won't be frozen over, I wouldn't think, but to catch something is quite different.

Hard on the bottom if you try, I would think.

Default Clattercote.

Last time I went in the cold I caught some quality roach on squatt and pinkie . peg 15 or around there on 9 metre line . I fished a foot or so off the deck and fed a small catty of squatt every put in with pinkie hooker. Roach to 1lb 10oz if I remember rightly.

Hmm must go back soon.............

yep it's a nice place to go for something other than carp, bit of a shame the head gskets gone on my van which meant i couldn't make it there today so i had a trip down the local canal/river instead, will have to try the squatt/pinkie combo next time i go soudns like a good option
