Hi,, I have a Billy Lane 13 foot Quiver tip Match rod with 2 tips 2 butts that was bought in the mid 1960s, it had a short piece of fiber glass hanging off one of the tips with a end eye it worked simlure to a swing tip but a bit heavy if hanging onto it all day, brass ferruls, but great centre pin trotting rod,, its still getting used but not as much, great for putting out a sinker into the deeper water 80 meters is a normal sort of cast in calm conditions, one of the waters i fish is 60 meters deep at its deepest point, 80 meters puts you out into 40 to 50 feet depending on where you are at the lake
