Fishing in perspective

I was lying in bed early Monday morning wistfully wondering when on earth I'd ever get to fish ....... work, mother nature and the MD of my household were all conspiring to deny me.

When in rushes my daughter, all 3.5 years of bouncing activity. She does have very very vivid dreams, so I was expecting a really upset little one wracked with the torment of a dream enhanced fear of teddy bear demise or something.

I was not to be disappointed ....... but this was a serious one:

Daddy, daddy Santa will not be able to park properly in Sainsbury's to collect all the presents he needs to deliver. There will be an accident and Rudolf will get hurt ....... pleeeeeeeeeeasse help him.

After some 20mins of calming and gentle reassuring I convinced her that Sainsbury's have a delivery service which will go to Santa.
