Default First Decent Catch.

Well as the subject says I went out this morning for a few hours on the canal and had 3 x Bream all around 4lb.

I was well chuffed as I had been down a couple of times over the last week or so and had just been catching little bits, although that's fun I was really hoping for something bigger.

I have well and truly caught the bug again

Danny.

nice one - did you get them on pole or rod ? What baits ? I had a few pellets left over from Furnace Mill last year and tried them down the canal and had a few skimmers and one bream

On the pole but was using it more likes whip.

Had maggot as hookbait and was baiting up with hemp, pellet and a bit of groundbait.

Really good morning all in all.

Danny.
