I bet you're on a water meter and you were in the back garden dressed as a turkey whilst doing the rain dance and shaking maracas at the sky just to save a few bob when they suddenly appeared? :eek: ;) :D

Basically mean BAD weather! Never seen them myself though.

Yes as Mongwah said they are Mammatus clouds, (or Mammary clouds as I used to call them)

They're fairly rare, I have only seen them once or twice and I used to be a Meteorologist in th RN observing weather all around the globe.
