A strange but logical phenomenon?

My current avatar is a picture taken by a fellow angler on the towpath of the GUC about 20 years ago. I think I was landing a fish at the time.



In reality the bridge and the angler next to me were actually on my right hand side.

It has baffled a few locals as to my location...

Any guesses how?

They still look like they're on your right, did you mean left?

Maybe you could Tring someone and tell them that you are Hunton bridge, if they call you a Berko then tell them you Boxmoor than they do and theyr'e full of Bulbourne out of jealousy.

It's a mirror image i suppose..

I am also aware I resemble Nigel Farage. I often do a double take when I see him on telly lol....

They are all pounds on the GUC.

****insons pound is in Croxley where they manufactured paper. Remember Croxley script watermarks in writing paper?
Evans pound is a canalised stretch of the river Gade in Watford.
Lady Capels is the pound to the north of Evans.
Cow roast is a pound on the Aylesbury arm near Aylesbury.
Ovaltine pound is in Kings Langley and the egg farm and Art Deco factory backs onto the canal...now trendy flats...
Wendover arm is an arm which goes to Wendover...
Moor pound is south of ****insons on Croxley moor....
