It's certainly an interesting section on predator fishing, sixteen pages in all. Some of the articles are aimed at beginners.

What interests me is that Anglers Mail writes

"Many freshwater species seem to have been flourishing in recent years........but pike have been a notable exception......the newsdesk gets sent far fewer big fish than ever before, even in terms of 20s, let alone 30lb-plus fish"

It also mentions Eastern European's as well . Not sure if they can legally do that can they? Although I do agree as I have found deadlines on a local stretch, it's been reported but not sure if anything will be done about it! Not as many big girls as used to be at the venue I fish.

But it's true about Eastern Europeans, It's terrible round my way! They even set up fires right next to the river

I hate to point the finger, but there's an epidemic of set lines on the lower Tees, something that's become common in recent times.
