Let's see who can catch a whopper this time?

Usual rules apply...

Rod, pole or whip.

Any legal method.

Anywhere in the UK...

Starts midnight Saturday 3rd September 2016.

Ends midnight Tuesday 14th March 2017.

This will be the 6th annual BPC since it's inception...

The all time record is held by Chubberbob at 4lb:11oz in the 2013/14 season.

Photos would be good but not compulsory. Take a pic anyway as there are usually ways and means to get it on the thread.


The British record is 6lb5oz I believe.

Its 2lb 8ozs on hair rigged rudd tail. I know it will be easily beaten but I thought it would start the challenge off

Given the state of the waters in my neck of the woods I'd be pleased as punch with a fish like that. Great start to the comp. John.

Well here is my entry, caught yesterday on a Crazy Fish Vibro Worm slowly jigged across the bottom on a 3g jig head, using a Korum 5-15g rod. My Perch matches the 2lb 8oz caught by John Step but is also a new PB Perch for me, so had to show it.

Had a great days perching yesterday on a club lake .had 6 perch all on small livebaits.3 over 2 pound and 3 between 1 and 2 pound.biggest 2:10.got some photos on my phone but dont know how to post them.cant suss photo bucket.and for some reason cant down load tapatalk

Ha, yeah not exactly wearing camouflage, I am sporting my bass fishing jersey tho, shipped from the USA that wasn't cheap so I get my wear out of it, every time i go fishing for the last 2 years so far! ?

Photobucket is dead easy to upload to.

Once you've selected your image it will appear as a small thumbnail image, all you do then is click on the thumbnail and a new page loads which shows it full size and you simply use your browser to copy the image URL in the bottom box which I have arrowed.

A single left click over the box will do it...





Once you've copied the code just paste it into your post.

At first it will just show as a load of text, characters and numbers but if you click on "preview post" you will see it as the image which will appear on the thread once you submit your post.

Had to put them on a couple of wet towels as my unhooking mat was some how forgotten and there mere no nice soft grass about

Had an even bigger one turn away at my feet too!
They refused every rubber in the box and this one, 2 and half ish, took a 99p sports direct spinner! couldn't write the script for this fishing lark eh?
