Erewash canal Long Eaton urgent

All I want to go fishing here tomorrow however I have just found out it's owned by Long Eaton Victoria Angling Society. You can get day tickets for £3 but I don't know if you can buy these at the bank or if you have to buy them from a tackle shop. Website almost implies you need to get them from the tackle shop however this seems a little odd to me.

Does anyone know for sure?
