Just been looking at the Shimano Aero 6000 GTE, would these be suitable for bait fishing or would a larger size be more suitable?
Also I haggled the price down to �180 for the pair (rrp �124.99 each). Should I go for it?

I use these for livebaits,and close in deads no problems.So i would snap his hand off.

Try Sheltons of Peterborough, last time I was in there you could get 3 for �210, I think a pair were around �148 [not too sure on that one]

I've sourced them on the net for �75 but it's too late now anyway, just been and bought them. If they aren't up to the job I'll stick em on my barbel rods!

Wimp! What's wrong with multipliers?

How are you doing Bob? I'm down on the Great Ouse above Bedford this weekend experimenting with large Barbel for livebait!
