Saw this piece - Andrews of Arcadia Scrapbook: The Days When We Were So Happy And Did Not Know It - flagging up an exhibition of re-worked Tunny photos in Bond St, London West End earlier, noting that the biggest of the season was taken by a "boy at Eton".
Eighteen years of age in 1935, I thought to myself, with war just four years off, I wonder what happened to him? So I did a search.

26 or so. One of ten of thousands of others that men like my Dad, a Flight Lieutenant bomber pilot and a survivor of the conflict, never forgot. By God, we might moan these days, but....
