I wouldn't want to get caught between those two... I bet the angler was a bit peeved with his intended Sunday roast bobbing around only inches away :D

The larger fish seems to have made a grab at the bait and because it cannot see whats infront of its mouth as it does so, it closed its mouth onto whatever was there, with unfortunate consequences for the small fish.

Certainly not one shark attacking another, more an overhyped publicity exercise.

Personally I wish the tourist industry involving the 'baiting' of oceanic sharks was banned globally.

Same with whales and dolphins and their attendant flotillas of boats, with lions, leopards and cheetah on the African savannah and even now with tiger in some of the Indian parks. The upside of tourist bucket-list gawping? Awareness and a desire and hard cash to try and save the species. Downside? Killing the goose that laid the golden egg. Happens in international fishing, too.
