Does anyone have the above and what do you think about it. I have a 14" Grauvell telescopic beach caster but fancy something lighter for float, ledgering and spinning.

On the odd times I do a bit of shore fishing I just use my coarse rods, Mike - a 1.75lb Shimano barbel rod is my go-to sea rod. :) The Shakespeare does come across as a tidy bit of kit, however, and it is only 40 notes...:D

This rod will end up in France where I do all my sea fishing ( Med) and it is a 3 piece and comes in a stout plastic rod case so transportable by air!

I will have fun later in the week examining both assuming my local tackle shop have them in stock which I doubt!
