Now I know I'm biased but that is the sort of content this site cries out for.

That is a top quality article very nicely complimented by the use of short, relevant video clips.

It makes me want to go fishing!

Excellent job and congratulations to Adam.

Great idea for an article and a good read :)

Also shows though why I hope anglers who have got lazy fishing commercials stay away from the rivers. Too many fish will be left trailing line and hooks otherwise.

Thanks ever so much Neil, it was challenging doing the filming as well as the angling, for both of us (learning curve for Ian doing video, too. He's so used to taking good stills and holding a heavy camera steady that his shots look like we used a tripod in places - they will be the ones where you can see both my hands!) and delighted you said such lovely words about the effort. Truth is, despite Ian claiming to be a poor teacher, I know a lot of anglers would give an awful lot to do what I got to do. Meanwhile, point taken about the comment about semi-skilled commercial types above ...but I didn't lose a single feeder, nor a hook that day.

Just my Barbus Virginity for real :))))
