Whilst supporting any efforts to get kids into angling, my opinion is that it needs to be a bottom up structure to be truly effective. I hope thats what transpires from this meeting.
NDD? Is this just another catch all description for kids that cant be encouraged to get up from the play station mainly because of uninterested parents pre occupied with themselves?
The drive needs to be through youth organisations / clubs / schools etc. Until it become self sustaining.
There needs to be a clear plan with celebrity supporters that appeal to non fishing youngsters and the plan underpinned by financial assistance from the government and tackle manufacturers.
