What does this mean in real terms ?

• Agreement to increase the national limit for cormorant controls to the emergency level of 3,000 (from 2,000 last year) in 2014/5 if the need can be demonstrated.

So am I right in saying that what have at the moment as a result of this is 'The Government is committed to a 'review' of how many of these birds can be shot annually' rather than actual numbers or have I missed something?

I shall read it properly when I get back home......

Think folks need to read this properly. Nothing concrete but 3 jobs at the ATr, the rest is pure waffle about possible reviews, possible changes, possible ................

If this turns out like the Keith the seal fiasco........
