I have launched a petition pointing out the inadequacy of the fines for water pollution. I'd be grateful if you'd sign it, and if this thread could be made sticky

Whilst we at it, we should also petition the head of the EA who will have ultimate responsibility as to which court the CRIMINALS are put through.

WE SHOULD DEMAND THAT THEY ARE PUT THROUGH THE CROWN COURTS WHERE FINES CAN BE UNLIMITED AND IMPRISONMENT CAN BE IMPOSED.

This case is so serious that the usual lack of balls from the EA and the magistrates court will not do for this abhorrent act of environmental harm.
