Hi all,

Ithought i'd take apart my Ryobi ML3.5 reel yesterday as it was running rough. Now after putting it back together somethings not quite right the handle nut undoes its self when reeling in. Anyone got any ideas?

If that can't be sorted i'm going to have to buy a new one. I looked online quickly and saw the TF Gear Force 8 Match/Feeder reel, is it any good or has anyone else got any suggestions for a reel in to £40 price range?

Thanks in advance

Mike

i think the tf gear is expensive just because hayes uses it have a look at thedaiwa regal xior some of theshimano reels you should pick up a reasonable one around the £40 mark.

is the head of the handle retaining screw touching the side cover causing it to grab and unscrew when you wind the handle, a washer may have been lost when you took it apart. Shimano is so much better.
