Drennan matchpro medium feeder?

Does anyone own this rod and could give some good feedback it has four tips?

I'm torn between this rod and a slightly cheaper option with two less tips, the Drennan 12' Specialist Avon quiver @ £99 rather than £139. Is the matchpro a better blank or the same.

They both have a similar line rating.

I'm sure both rods are good as I love Drennan gear. It's just the Avon is £40 cheaper and I want a decent blank.

You can never get in touch with Drennan to ask them can you?

I would suspect that the chances of them being the same blank will be fairly slim. I'd expect a match type feeder rod to have a significantly different action to that of an Avon rod. Whether you, or anyone else, would consider one better than the other will come down to the intended use and personal preferences.

I'd be amazed if the blanks were the same as one is 2 sections + tips and the other is 3 sections + tips and far cheaper. But you need to define 'better'. Slimmer ? Lighter ? Softer ? etc etc
