Hi all, I'm now 34 and want to start fishing again, I used to fish on the river Severn when I was in my early teens just float fishing mainly, I then brought a pole a few years back and started pole fishing on the canal in Leicester and some pools for carp..... Since then all my gear was stolen and I only have left my pole, its only a cheap 2nd hand one.
I'm looking to start up again, I live in Sedgley and will be fishing on the local canal and some pools.... Can you guys recommend some kit for me to get me started again, my knowledge of fishing is very limited so more help the better, thanks.
PS once I've got the hang of it I would like to start taking my nephew along, his only 10 and think he would enjoy.
