fishing method on 2oz quiver?

hi,

im new to quiver fishing and have just bought a Diawa black widow twin tip rod which comes with a 2oz quiver tip and a 1.75bl hollow carbon tip. my question is which one should i use to fish the method with in a still water fishery?

You need to use the strongest tip you have because it is really only there for casting purposes rather than bite indication.

Typically the bite experienced on the method is pretty "savage" and is unmistakable.

Thanks guys, fished with it this weekend. went with a 29g Guru X safe method feeder, 2mm micro pellets a bloodworm balanced hook bait on the 2oz quiver tip. Had a great day, pulled out 8 carp of 2 to 5 pound get a full set of species Mirror, Common, Leather and Crussion.

Really effective method and rod combo!
