We kick off with action and some cracking carp from four top carp fisheries:

Cuttle Mill Fishery in the Midlands
Boyes Leisure near Uxbridge, Middlesex
Todber Manor, Dorset
Dartford and District PAS’s Brooklands Lake, Kent

The full programme, available free here on FishingMagic, also spotlights the rounds at Berners Hill in Essex, where zig rigs did the damage and the winners weighed in over 437lb, and Elphicks North Lake in Kent, a day ticket venue holding a huge head of cracking carp and where hard work and speed fishing really paid off. We also find out what happened in the two qualifiers at Kent’s Chilham Mill, a venue that always attracts top names and where the number one seeds won through.

Then it’s on to the big event, the 2008 British Carp Championships Semi Final number one, where the 24 pairs are fighting it out at Watermark Leisure in the Cotswolds. They are fishing the massive 114-acre Bradley’s Lake, home to fish over 40lb including one of the oldest carp in the land, a carp known as the Tiger Fish, stocked way back in 1946. The guys have 48 hours to catch as much as they can, and despite some dreadful weather, it’s less than half an hour before the anglers are troubling the scalesman.

This programme and many more are all available on FishingMagic and free to view in December’s issue of Carp Channel Monthly until 05 January 2012.

So there’s plenty of time over the Christmas break to sneak away from the family and get your carp fishing fix online.
