Only the specialist angler carries his rods already completely assembled and ready to fish - almost anyway, for all he has to do is fit the two sections of a two-piece rod together. Practically all other anglers take their rods to the water in rod bags and assemble them with reels and end tackle on arrival.
The advantage for the specialist is, of course, that he can assemble his rigs in comfort at home and therefore take all the time he needs to do a perfect job. Ready to use rods also mean he has more fishing time.

The FISHRITE Padded Challenger Holdall is made from strong, fully padded, easy-wipe material. It will hold three made up rods, complete with reels and three rods with no fitted reels.
It has a large brolly pocket and a large bankstick pocket. The stitching appears to be strong and the zips robust. There is also a version for 13ft rods that retails at the same price.
