The 'Large' version measures a generous 90cm(W) x 45cm(H) and the 'Extra Large' an even more generous 125cm(W) x 51cm(H).
With a built-in padded mat with two sides, which can be quickly closed around the fish using the double heavy-duty speed zip.
This now means the fish will be completely safe during the weighing, photographing and transportation back to the water, and the carry handles also double up as secure weighing points as they cradle the base.
The double pegging points are not only designed for battening down in windy weather, but by adding a clip-on strap, the whole sling can be used as an additional bag for carrying bait, etc.

I was impressed with this unhooking mat/weighsling from Shimano when I first saw Big Rik (Carp Angler) using one in France last year.
It is well made with a strong material and reliable zip and an ideal size for offering the fish safety and security without going OTT with something that could double as a mattress.
Rik demonstrated just how good it was when we weighed, photographed and returned a 36lb carp in a smooth, slick operation that took no time at all.
