JOHN ROBERTS SPECIALIST REST
Price: £2.35
John Roberts says
Targeted at specialist and pleasure anglers, whether float or leger. This front rod rest encompasses some useful design features I have previously used in some of my other more specific rod rest designs.
Tech Spec
-
Positive rod location slot to help prevent your rod being pulled in, knocked in or blown out
-
Deep, free flow line slot for easier tightening up and touch legering
-
Yet allowing low angle strikes
-
Rubberised thermoplastic material to help prevent rod creep
-
Slot can be closed in to grip rod by binding to required size with tape or string and then immersing in hot water for ten minutes

FISHINGmagic VERDICT

Another simple, very functional and practical design from John Roberts. Again, I would be willing to pay a little more for a brass thread for longer life.
