Fishrite Xtreme PVA Bags

FISHRITE XTREME PVA BAGS
Price: from £1.99 to £2.50 for a pack of 10

Plain and Perforated are available in Mini, Large and Tube.
Drawstring in Mini, Large and Tube, plus Cone and Bullet shaped.

These new Fishrite Xtreme PVA bags are as good as any I've used, dissolving in good time, with very little residue and available in a variety of sizes at the right price. That, in itself, is as good a reason as any to buy some.

The good news however, is that the bags are perforated which, for a forgetful so and so like me, is a simple but damn good thing, for many is the time I forget to puncture the bags before casting in and then seeing them either float at the surface when using a light lead, or know that they're sinking slowly and releasing the contents over too wide an area. Worst still, watching them float downstream when river fishing!

But that's not all, for a little extra you can buy them with a drawstring! So now we have a PVA bag with holes already in them (not too many nor too large to let even micro pellets escape) and with a drawstring to make sealing them a real doddle.

You don't even have to tie the drawstring, just fill the bag with your chosen bait, grip each string and pull tight, moisten it, and then wind it tightly round the neck of the bag. This seals it very firmly indeed and at no time during testing did the bags burst open during casting.

Special Offer
The bad news is that the bags won't be available in the shops until mid to late April. But much better news is that you can buy, direct from Fishrite, a bulk pack, worth approximately £20.00, for the special offer price of £10.00.

This Special Offer Bulk Pack Contains:
10 x Mini Plain Bags
10 x Large Plain Bags
10 x Tube Plain Bags
10 x Mini Perforated Bags
10 x Large Perforated Bags
10 x Tube Perforated Bags
5 x Drawcord Perforated Mini Bags
5 x Drawcord Perforated Large Bags
5 x Drawcord Perforated Tube Bags
5 x Drawcord Perforated Cone Bags
5 x Drawcord Perforated Bullet Bags

Just click here to order: Fishrite Xtreme PVA Bags Special Offer

A total of 85 bags for just £10.00.

FISHINGmagic VERDICT

Excellent PVA bags and the drawstring is a brilliant idea for anglers like me who find such jobs as tying PVA bags tedious. Highly recommended. Get the Special Offer Bulk Pack while you can, they get full marks from me.

It's occurred to me that -if I can create (nearly) dry rubby-dubby - these would be good for steady groundbaiting while shark fishing.

attach to a fairly small weight and allow to slide down a heavy line, and you can steadily introduce small amounts of particles at all depths, rahter than just rely on the "cone" of falling groundait you get with an onion sack at the surface.
FOR THE SAME REASONS, could be good for
* groundbaiting for Black Bream
* attaching to uptide leads (if you want dogfish!)
* drawing Conger out of a wreck without overfeeding them
