Korum Intelligent Tackle Management
Korum Say
Having analysed the items carried by the modern pleasure angler and the methods of transporting and using tackle in and around the swim, we developed the Intelligent Tackle Management concept - an integrated system of tackle boxes and luggage that works together to offer the ultimate in tackle organisation.
Intelligent Tackle Management Standout Features
-
Tackle boxes and luggage are all compatible with each other
-
Creates an organised transport and tackle storage system for any angler
-
Designed to provide maximum efficiency in both storage and transportation
Most modern tackle boxes seem to be an evolutionary stage of the humble Stewart tackle box, with a broad flat shallow profile - the best tackle box available in the days of plastic and wicker seat boxes.
The modern angler is now more likely to carry a rucksack or bag and our new tackle storage system is based around this. The two boxes (Tackle Manager and Rig Manager) are designed to fit neatly inside our rucksacks and Intelligent Tackle Management luggage.
Many items commonly used will not fit into the shallow profile boxes. It was with this in mind that the Tackle Manager box was designed with a deeper profile to take the larger items of tackle like spare spools, PVA systems, feeders etc.
Conversely the Rig Manager has a slim profile which makes this ideally suited as a 'working box' containing the essentials you need for fishing - rigs, hooks, swivels, baiting tools, etc.

Tackle boxes just get better and better. No longer are they the tool boxes you find in B&Q which have been tarted up a bit and given the appropriate tackle manufacturer's logo.
And now we have the best yet with this Intelligent Tackle Management system from Korum, designed from the bottom up with anglers in mind.
 Waterproof seals
|
Excellent touches are the waterproof seals - I mean, what use is a fancy box if it lets water in? And the catches, although quite stiff at first, really do close the box and keep it closed. And the recessed top to stop your bits and pieces from rolling or getting blown off by the wind.
I don't often carry spare spools but the spool cases come in very handy for bombs and other leads.
 Spool case
|
The Rig Manager with the Rig Board is superb, not too short for those of us who like to use longer hooklengths on occasion and holding accessory boxes for hooks, swivels, spare pins and any other bits and pieces you incorporate into your rigs.
If you want to get your tackle really organised then you need to take a look at this system from Korum. I'll tell you how good it is; I look forward to getting the system out when I'm fishing and making up a few rigs. It's a feelgood thing and this system really does make me feel good. That's got to be worth something.
