Reel in the Bargains at Aldi

Reel in the Bargains at Aldi

Make sure you net Aldi's latest range of fishing equipment this June and really kit yourself out with the latest fishing gadgets and fashions. There's no need to tackle high prices either, as at Aldi you can get high quality, durable fishing gear, at prices considerably lower than you would find anywhere else.

Fishing Waders £14.99

Feel free to wade in deep with these full leg-length waders. These robust waders are made of tear resistant rubber/PVC and have a worked in textile lining for extra comfort. The waders are available in sizes 8-12 and come complete with adjustable straps to attach to a belt. They also come with non-slip rubber profiled soles to ensure you don't get swept away when landing that enormous pike. Available in olive green.

Telescopic Carp Rod £19.99

This eight piece, carbon fibre carp rod extends to 500cm. It has a cork and rubber handle for a better grip and a seven piece ceramic collar. This high quality rod is made from eight carbon segments. Segment six is made from 90% carbon and segment seven from 100% carbon to enable the rod to yield well when a fish bites. The approximate weight of the rod without the reel is 569g and the casting weight is approximately 40-90g. The reel is made of graphite with four steel ball bearings and an aluminium spool.

All-Round Telescopic Fishing Rod £11.99

No fisherman can do without the all-round fishing rod, with six piece carbon fibre, a maximum length of 280cm and a minimum length of 69cm. It has a cork and rubber handle and ceramic rings weighing 220g. The reel has a 5.5:1 gear ratio and comes complete with three steel ball bearings with a return stop and back break coil.

Telescopic Landing Net £5.99

This triangular shaped landing net is purpose-built to help you land fish carefully and safely. With a three-piece telescopic pole, the net is foldable with a telescopic grip. The handle can extend to 220cm and the net size is approximately 50cm x 50cm x 55cm (deep). It is the ideal accompaniment to a successful days' fishing.

Fishing Rod Bag £8.99

The ideal bag to carry your fishing rods in - this is big enough to store an assembled rod, so no need to dismantle it every time you move. The fishing rod bag has two main sections and a large outside pocket for a net or umbrella. There are also two small handy pockets on the outside of the bag - ideal for personal possessions or hooks and floats. The bag has an adjustable strap to ensure comfort and manoeuvrability making it easier for you to venture down to the banks of the river. The bag is made of polyester with a PVC coating and is water-repellent.

Rod Pod £24.99

This 80cm to 135cm fully-folding Rod Pod represents outstanding value for money and is sure to be very popular with anglers looking for a complete system at a competitive price. The Rod Pod features include: two telescopic adjustable buzzer bars, three screw in butt rests and three drop off swing-bite indicators. The Pod even comes packaged in a zipped fabric bag with two front pockets.

Fishing Bags £6.99

This multi use bag is ideal for anglers as a multi divisional tackle box is supplied with the bag and fits neatly into the top pocket. The front pocket is fitted with an integral rig wallet and pouch and the base of the bag unzips to form an ideal compartment for storing weights, floats and other accessories. The bag has an enforced EVA formed base with a zip closure, so it can be placed on wet or muddy ground. For extra comfort the bag has an adjustable strap, which is padded and also comes with carry handles for easy manoeuvrability. The fishing bag is made of 100% polyester and is 32cm(L) x 30cm(H) x 20cm(W).

Because you can never rely on the English weather, the fishing shelter is a must-have for any fisherman. This shelter gives sturdy protection against the elements and is water-repellent. The shelter comes with three fibreglass poles for easy assembly and a zip is located at the front allowing you to shut out the elements.
